Smart is a new personal 3D scanner from RangeVision which is great for objects of different sizes ~ from 4cm to 1meter. It is compact, easy calibrated and makes accurate and highly detailed scans. Smart contains 2 industrial cameras, which enables to scan with markers for automaticall alignment and simplification of the scanning process. The scanner is easy to calibrate, as it contains no lens. Smart's projector battery allows to work with the scanner without connecting to the power source up to 1 hour.
This low-cost solution fits perfectly for a variety of applications such as:
