RangeVision Neopoint
Portable 3D scanner that does not require calibration
For objects from 5 to 150 cm
Infrared sensor
Shooting textures
Affordable price
Compact and mobile
With Neopoint, an operator with a minimal level of training will be able to scan.
For education, hobbies and design
Neopoint is suitable for 3D archiving in the field of art and culture. Copes with the tasks of prototyping and reverse engineering in the production of decor, furniture, toys and other areas that do not require increased accuracy.
Neopoint scans in manual or stationary mode: the handle transforms into a tripod.
The rotary table mode allows you to automate the rotation of an object and save time. The Neopoint does not require calibration or adjustment of the sensor — it is already ready for operation. To digitize an object, you only need to connect the scanner to a personal computer and run the RV 3D Studio program.
Neopoint is the result of a collaboration between RangeVision and Revopoint, an affordable solution with an innovative sensor based on professional RV 3D Studio software.
RV 3D Studio works with a significant amount of data and has all the necessary functionality not only for digitization, but also for processing. RangeVision developers regularly release free software updates, upgrading algorithms based on scanner performance analysis.

The standard package includes:
Turntable allows the user to automate the scanning process of small to medium-sized objects. The turntables platform performs a series of rotations, which add up to 360°, obtaining scans in between, allowing to scan the object from every angle and automatically align the scans. The turntable connects to the host PC through a USB port and to the 220V power source through the adapter.
Quick and easy 3D scanning of an object on a rotary table platform. When an object is rotated, its model fragments are combined automatically.
Automatic alignment of model fragments by markers applied to the surface of the object. Used to improve the accuracy of stitching large objects. External photogrammetry systems are supported.
Used for 3D scanning of objects that cannot be digitized the other way, e.g. museum exhibits. Model fragments obtained from different angles are combined according to the features of the object surface geometry.
The program allows you to significantly improve the 3D model before exporting by using several tools:
The program supports color-transfer scanning and has the function of automatically adjusting the white balance, which is important if the data obtained is used for color 3D printing or in computer graphics, animation and presentations.
The user can choose between scanning speed and detail by changing the resolution of the cameras.
The program makes it possible to combine scans in automatic and manual modes based on geometry or markers, and pre-optimize the model.
Convenient export of the scene image allows you to save both the results of measurements performed and the results of constructing conventional and textured models in the main custom 2D graphics formats — JPEG, PNG, BMP, PDF with the ability to select the image resolution.
RV 3D Studio allows you to export 3D models in the most popular formats: OBJ, PLY, STL, PTX, ASCII.
The function of importing CAD files in the universal STP format with automatic grid triangulation ensures the connection of RV 3D Studio with 3D modeling systems.
