The Neopoint Max allows you to scan objects in manual or desktop mode. It includes a handle with a built-in battery and a mini tripod. You can use labels and automate the rotation of the object with a turntable (not included).

RV 3D Studio professional software

Neopoint Max is the result of a collaboration between RangeVision and Revopoint, an affordable solution based on professional RV 3D Studio software. RV 3D Studio works with a significant amount of data and has all the necessary functionality not only for digitization, but also for processing. RangeVision developers regularly release free software updates, upgrading algorithms based on scanner performance analysis.

Automatic TL turntable

Turntable allows the user to automate the scanning process of small to medium-sized objects. The turntables platform performs a series of rotations, which add up to 360°, obtaining scans in between, allowing to scan the object from every angle and automatically align the scans. The turntable connects to the host PC through a USB port and to the 220V power source through the adapter.

Scanning on the turntable

Quick and easy scanning of an object mounted on the turntable platform at the touch of a button. When you rotate an object, the fragments of the model are combined automatically.
Scanning with markers

Automatic alignment of model fragments based on markers applied to the surface of the object. It is used to improve the accuracy of stitching large objects. External photogrammetry systems are supported.
Scanning in Basic mode

It is used to scan objects that cannot be digitized by other means, such as museum exhibits. The fragments of the model obtained from different angles are combined according to the features of the geometry of the object's surface.

The program allows you to significantly improve the 3D model before exporting by using several tools:

Using saved marker reference networks

The use of ready-made marker substrates significantly speeds up and simplifies the scanning of objects of comparable size. The reference network of such a substrate can be saved and then simply loaded before starting work.

Convenient export of the scene image allows you to save both the results of measurements performed and the results of constructing conventional and textured models in the main custom 2D graphics formats — JPEG, PNG, BMP, PDF with the ability to select the image resolution.

RV 3D Studio allows you to export 3D models in the most popular formats: OBJ, PLY, STL, PTX, ASCII, OFF.

The function of importing CAD files in the universal STP format with automatic grid triangulation ensures the connection of RV 3D Studio with 3D modeling systems.
