Single-line mode: The laser line penetrates deeply into internal cavities and complex contours. The focused beam captures the finest details with minimal noise.
7-line mode: Projects 7 parallel laser lines, capturing up to 1.2 million points per second. This significantly reduces digitization time for large, open areas.
Scans Any Object, Any Lighting
Bright blue laser enables scanning of black and glossy surfaces without anti-reflective spray. Built-in optical filters allow operation under any ambient lighting conditions.
On-the-Fly Mode Switching
Three physical buttons and LED indicators on the scanner body let you switch modes and adjust settings during scanning.

RV 3D Studio
The Software Environment for RangeVision Helix
RV 3D Studio is designed for 3D scanning and subsequent data processing. We do not segment our software into different versions or restrict its functionality. Users receive the full software functionality without restrictions, including all updates and features, regardless of whether they use a semi-professional or metrological solution. Our development team utilizes original, proprietary algorithms for digitization and data processing, continuously improving the software based on real-world operational experience.
Official and responsive technical support directly from the manufacturer. We ensure prompt responses to all inquiries from both users and partners. Our specialists actively engage with the professional community, conduct regular webinars, and develop products and software based on user feedback.
We provide full warranty coverage and technical maintenance throughout the entire warranty period in accordance with local market requirements. Our experienced team works with partners and customers across different regions to ensure timely service delivery. Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting are available for most issues, and we coordinate with local service centers when on-site support is needed.
Post-Warranty Service
We provide repair and maintenance services beyond the warranty period — for both current 3D scanner models and discontinued devices. All work is performed using original components, and we provide warranty on all completed services. Our team has extensive experience supporting equipment across multiple international markets and can coordinate service delivery through our global partner network.
Commissioning and Training
We provide comprehensive support for 3D scanner implementation: installation guidance, hardware and software configuration, and personnel training on equipment and standard software. Our engineers have extensive experience working with customers worldwide and can provide both on-site commissioning (through our partner network) and comprehensive remote setup support. We ensure proper integration of scanners into your production or laboratory processes regardless of your location.
Frequently Asked Questions about RangeVision Helix
No. Laser scanners are not safe for direct eye exposure. Additionally, applying tracking markers to a human subject is impractical for achieving a seamless and accurate model. For human scanning, we recommend our optical Calibry series.
The Helix can scan an aircraft or even a spacecraft, provided a sufficient number of markers are used and, ideally, an external photogrammetry system is employed for global alignment.
No. A resolution of 0.15 mm is insufficient for capturing the intricate geometry of jewelry. For such small items, we recommend using our high-accuracy stationary scanners.
No. Once you have activated your license and have a working version of the software installed, no internet connection is required for operation.
Yes, when paired with an optional external power bank, the scanner can operate for several hours in the field, ensuring true mobility.
