3D scanning in the “Body Repair” competence

RangeVision employees held a training workshop at the Transport Technologies site of the Moscow Industrial College to introduce 3D scanning technology into the Body Repair competence.

Using the RangeVision PRO 3D scanner, which is approved as a type of measuring instrument, they scanned a car wing, and the single model was used as a reference. Next, they applied defects to the wing. The corrected result was scanned, compared with the reference, and the deviation map was used to determine whether it met the tolerances.
