RangeVision held a master class for students at 3D Weekend

On March 18 and 19, the 3D Weekend was held at the Center for Urban Planning Technologies.
RangeVision presented its equipment and technologies at the Moscow Industrial College. Participants learned about the capabilities of 3D scanners and attended a master class on obtaining digital twins.

As part of the event, two automobile wings were scanned: one reference and the second, on which the work was carried out. Next, a deviation map was built in the RangeVision ScanCenter NG software to check whether they were within the tolerance during repair.
We also performed a 3D scan of half of the car’s bumper in order to restore the entire 3D model using reverse engineering.
