As part of the Additive Manufacturing competency, the contestants digitized the part with the highest possible detail and minimal data loss, and converted the resulting point clouds into a polygonal model without any traces of automatic mesh correction.

As part of the Additive Manufacturing competency, the contestants digitized the part with the highest possible detail and minimal data loss, and converted the resulting point clouds into a polygonal model without any traces of automatic mesh correction.
Next, a parametric model was built based on the polygon model of the deformed part, and the nominal dimensions were restored as much as possible. The competitors analyzed the deformation of the part and built a model with corrected geometry.
