Corrections and adjustments
- the names of the methods for building a single model have been changed: “Basic” and “Advanced" are more understandable instead of “Engineering” and “Artistic”;
- The markup on camera views has been changed in the setup, calibration and scanning wizard modes: there are fewer lines that need to be combined, which simplifies the installation of the calibration field. Note: The illustrations and text hints in the calibration and setup wizard will be adjusted in future versions.
New features
- optimized CPU usage when working with Neopoint scanners;
- added more informative hints in case of incorrect hardware initialization and geometry capture problems;
- added a hotkey (Esc) for the “Reset stage selection" function;
- added support for the TXL turntable with a load capacity of up to 250 kg (will go on sale in the fall).
The new version of RV 3D Studio 2023.1.7 is already available to all users of RangeVision scanners. The update can be downloaded from the program menu or download on the support portal.
