Helix is an excellent tool for detailed digitization, reverse engineering, contactless measurements, and geometry control. The 7—line mode allows you to quickly assemble the basic geometry of an object, while the single-line mode allows you to scan deep holes, grooves, and recesses.
The scanner weighs 900 g, is equipped with a 5-meter cable, and connects to a PC via USB 3.0. RV 3D Studio will support Helix in the upcoming release 2024.0. The software will use saved marker reference networks and combine scans obtained on different RangeVision scanners in one project.
