RV 3D Studio 2025.0 — all scanners in one software
RV 3D Studio 2025.0 — all scanners in one software
The long-awaited RV 3D Studio release has been released, which provides support for both optical and RangeVision laser 3D scanners.
15.05.2025
For some time after the release of the new RangeVision Helix handheld 3D laser scanner, it could only be used with a special release in 2024, in which work with our stationary scanners was unavailable. Now there is no need for a separate software version — all current models are supported in the new RV 3D Studio 2025.0.
In addition to this major achievement, the new release has brought together dozens of improvements and fixes: eliminating incorrect program behavior in some cases, optimizing and improving the stability of the scanning process, updating the program interface.
Updated launcher
Added
Implemented support for manual and stationary scanners in one software
The functionality of hotkeys has been expanded and a complete list of them has been added in the Help section
The RV corporate logo for the software icon has been returned

Added the functionality of saving a project via the "Save project as..." dialog.
Added functionality for hiding reference marker networks on a 3D scene
