The next RV 3D Studio release has been released. It has implemented support for metrological projects on Helix in advance, improved work with markers, and fixed dozens of bugs.

Added:
  • Checking and notification in case of scan failure for older CPU models
  • The marker display button on the “Measurements” tab
  • Metrological project and related settings for Helix

Improved:
The description of problems in alerts about marker detection errors has been specified.
  • Improved software stability in case of problems with receiving camera signals during scanning
  • Improved recovery of problematic marker networks
  • Improved model construction accuracy with simplification
Correction in the interface:
- fixed inconsistencies between the selected and actual languages in the interface,
- improved interface display when scaling the system font to 125% and 150%
- to increase the stability of the software, the interface response is limited when performing scans, calibration snapshots, axis estimation
, etc. The default granularity value has been increased when building a model.
Adjusted the alert about the lack of free memory when scanning on Helix
  • Improved noise filtering when scanning on Helix
  • Improved field rotation check in calibration steps 2 and 3 for all scanner models.
  • Improved simplified rendering mode on a 3D Scene

Fixed:
  • Fixed a bug with using the selection tool after using the “Clipping and Alignment” function
  • Fixed a bug when scanning in Alternative mode
  • Fixed a bug with hovering when opening the Helix calibration
  • Fixed a bug that allows changing the brightness of lasers during calibration on Helix
  • Fixed a bug when opening a project via the loader when there is a shortage of free RAM
  • Fixed a bug with the problem of updating software versions to 2024.0
